Asia’s music culture is facing the biggest challenge in its history. Since March, the entire Asia nightlife was officially shut down to prevent the spread of the coronavirus. This meant that millions of employees and hundred of thousands of artists are now suddenly without employment and the many venues, clubs, festivals, club nights and parties that are part of the Asian Cities identity are on the brink of ruin.

As a reaction to the closing of all Asias clubs and to the rest of the world being in quarantine, several asian countries are showing its support and solidarity by bringing the biggest possible digital club to your home with the aim of collecting funds for clubs, organizations and night workers in need.

The launch of United We Stream Asia, takes the European movement onto another continent. On one channel, we are able to take you on a journey through different countries, cities, cultures and  will showcase the entire range and diversity this scene has to offer.United We Stream Asia, in alliance with ARTE Concert, Club commission Berlin and Mixmag Asia, will host a streaming platform of Asia’s clubs, event organisers and artists several days a week. We want to raise awareness of the current situation and to not only unify Asia’s club culture but the world, building a community to support each other and giving a platform to showcase local talents to the rest of the world.

In difficult times like this Asia’s Club scene needs your support in order to keep building the scene for a better future.

With your Contribution to the fundraising we will support bars, clubs, pubs, venues, performers, freelancers and cultural organisations in need across Asia. All income will go directly to a community chest. The application and distribution of the funds underlay a catalog of criteria, which will be examined by an independent jury of local Culture and Night Time Economy leaders.
